Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Python Automation Tester to design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and scripts. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in Python programming, test automation, API testing, and CI/CD practices. The role involves collaborating with developers, business analysts, and QA teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality software products.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts using Python.
- Create and maintain robust automation frameworks for web, API, and backend applications.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing.
- Analyze test results, identify defects, and work closely with development teams for resolution.
- Develop reusable automation utilities and libraries.
- Integrate automation suites with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, etc.).
- Participate in requirement reviews and provide testability feedback.
- Generate test reports and maintain testing documentation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Continuously improve automation coverage and testing efficiency.

Required Skills

Technical Skills

- Strong programming experience in Python.




- Hands-on experience with automation frameworks such as:
- PyTest
- Robot Framework
- Behave (BDD)
- Unittest

- Experience in Selenium WebDriver or Playwright for UI automation.
- API testing experience using:

- Requests Library
- Postman
- REST Assured (good to have)

- Experience with SQL and database validation.
- Knowledge of Git/GitHub for version control.
- Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or GitHub Actions.
- Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Positive to Have

- Performance testing knowledge using JMeter or Locust.
- Docker and Kubernetes exposure.
- Cloud platform experience (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Test management tools such as JIRA, TestRail, or Zephyr.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Relevant experience in software testing and automation.
- ISTQB Certification (preferred but not mandatory).
