This role provides intermediate level product development and technical support for small to mid-size cloud-based projects. Identifies, resolves, or escalates hardware or software issues that span multiple technology domains, while mentoring technical teams to ensure seamless cloud operations. The ideal candidate (3-5 years of experience) would have experience in software development using Python and AWS

Responsibilities

- Designs, implements, and deploys cloud platforms to support and meet business needs. Identifies and recommends opportunities for improvement and performance issue solutions.
- Provides intermediate level technical support and monitors multiple cloud technology platforms efficiency through the use of monitoring tools and applications. Maintains comprehensive technical knowledge of cloud software and infrastructure platforms.
- Develops technical standards. Tests and evaluates IT vendor products. Reviews configuration parameters to optimize system performance and maximize operation uptime.
- Trains and mentors staff and IT project teams, providing guidance and consultation as required. Updates, writes, and maintains documentation for the department.
- Administers systems by actively managing patching, routine maintenance and backups to include the scheduling and execution of related tasks. Evaluating system performance and capacity in a large distributed infrastructure workplace.
- Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.




- Maintains the security posture of cloud infrastructure, ensuring alignment with compliance standards and organizational policies.
- Develops and applies automation scripts to support deployment, scaling, and maintenance of cloud resources.
- Oversees hybrid cloud environments, optimizing performance and uptime across platforms.
- Troubleshoots cloud system issues, identifying root causes and implementing preventive solutions.
- Design, document and implement new services/ solution.

Qualifications and Skills

- Minimum 3 years of experience in cloud engineering, infrastructure management, or cloud operations.
- Bachelor s degree (B.E./B.Tech in Computer Science/IT) or equivalent experience.
- Hands-on expertise with AWS Services, Python,Cloud based databases, CI/CD, Pipeline Development, Cloud Platform Development, Cloud Based Application Development
- Hands on experience in software development using Python and cloud
- Nice to have skills- Claude, Understanding of Analytical tools, Basic exposure of AI tools
- Able to work independently, passionate about solving points of pain for developer community, scrum/agile methodologies
- Basic troubleshooting skills in cloud infrastructure, networking, security best practices, and performance optimization

This role is based in Hyderabad, Telangana at Vanguard s India office. Only qualified external applicants will be considered.
