Join dsm-firmenichs Digital Infrastructure Foundation team as an Infrastructure Platform Engineer. You will support and manage our global hosting platforms spanning Private, Edge and Public cloud using IaC, and up-to-date automation tooling. This is a hands-on engineering role witha strategic outcomedriving scalable, secure, and resilient infrastructure across global operations.
Your keyresponsibilities:
- Engineer and maintain infrastructure runtime platforms across cloud (AWS, Azure) Edge and Datacenter environments
- Implement Infrastructure-as-Code using Terraform and appropriate tooling to automate deployments and configuration
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Network/Security/Data AI) to design scalable, secure, and cost-effective infrastructure solutions
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimise platform performance using modern observability tools
- Build reusable components and templates for landing zones
- Contribute to platform strategy standards, and continuous improvement initiatives
You bring:
- 5+ years of experience in infrastructure engineering, platform engineering, or DevOps
- Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure, AWS), containerization (Kubernetes, Docker), and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, Ansible) Scripting
- Strong Expertise on AWS Azure Platform
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, monitoring tools, and automation frameworks
- Solid understanding of networking, security, and system administration
- Ability to work cross-functionally and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Experience with SRE practices observability tools
