Role & responsibilities

- Design and define end-to-end SAP S/4HANA solution architecture aligned with business requirements and enterprise architecture standards.
- Lead SAP S/4HANA implementations, migrations, upgrades, and system-conversion programs.
- Analyze business and technical requirements and translate them into scalable, secure, and maintainable SAP solutions.
- Define integration architecture across SAP and non-SAP systems using APIs, IDocs, RFC, OData, SAP Integration Suite/CPI, and event-driven integration.
- Drive SAP Clean Core principles and recommend standard SAP functionality over unnecessary customizations.
- Provide architecture guidance across SAP S/4HANA, SAP BTP, Fiori/UI5, ABAP, HANA, analytics, security, and integration.
- Evaluate technical designs, identify risks, and establish architecture standards, patterns, and best practices.
- Lead technical discussions with business stakeholders, functional consultants, developers, infrastructure teams, vendors, and senior management.
- Support data migration, interface design, performance optimization, testing, deployment, and production-transition activities.
- Review custom developments and ensure adherence to SAP development and architecture standards.
- Provide technical leadership and mentoring to SAP consultants and development teams.
- Prepare solution architecture documents, technical specifications, integration diagrams, and architecture decision records.
- Stay current with SAP S/4HANA Cloud, RISE with SAP, SAP BTP, AI,



automation, and emerging SAP technologies.

Preferred candidate profile

- 5 to 10 years of SAP experience, with significant hands-on experience in SAP S/4HANA implementation, migration, or transformation projects.
- Strong understanding of SAP S/4HANA architecture, SAP HANA, ABAP, Fiori, integrations, and SAP BTP.
- Experience with at least one major S/4HANA transformation approach: Greenfield, Brownfield/System Conversion, or Selective Data Transition.
- Strong knowledge of Clean Core, extensibility, APIs, integration patterns, and cloud architecture.
- Experience working with SAP Integration Suite/CPI, OData, REST/SOAP, IDoc, RFC, and other integration technologies.
- Exposure to RISE with SAP, S/4HANA Cloud, SAP Cloud ALM, SAP Solution Manager, or SAP Signavio is advantageous.
- Robust understanding of enterprise architecture, solution design, security, scalability, performance, and high availability.
- Ability to lead technical teams and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, documentation, and decision-making skills.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum or SAP Activate methodologies.
- SAP certifications in S/4HANA, SAP BTP, Solution Architecture, or relevant SAP technologies are preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or a related discipline; MCA/M.Tech or equivalent qualifications are also acceptable.
