Job Title : Guidewire PolicyCenter SBT Engineer

Job Type : Full-Time / Contract

Experienced : 4+ years

Location : Hyderabad, Telangana

Responsibilities:

- 4+ years of hands-on experience with Guidewire PolicyCenter.
- Strong experience with Guidewire SBT modules, Rating, and Product Model.
- Experience configuring rating algorithms, rating rules, forms, and state-specific requirements.
- Experience working with ISO and AAIS commercial lines products.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
- Proficiency in GOSU scripting and Guidewire configuration.
- Hands-on experience with Guidewire Studio and configuration best practices.
- Experience translating business and actuarial requirements into Guidewire configuration solutions.
- Strong understanding of commercial P&C; insurance products, workflows, and rating principles.
- Robust knowledge of P&C; insurance regulatory and compliance frameworks.
- Serve as a Senior Engineer and provide technical direction to internal and external development teams.
- Configure, maintain, and enhance Guidewire SBTs for commercial insurance products.
- Develop and maintain Guidewire PolicyCenter Rating and Product Model configurations.




- Translate ISO and AAIS standards into configurable Guidewire solutions using Product Designer and/or Advanced Product Designer (APD).
- Customize rating algorithms, rating rules, forms, product models, and configuration components based on business and state-specific requirements.
- Collaborate closely with Product Owners, Actuarial teams, Business Analysts, and other stakeholders to translate business requirements into Guidewire configurations.
- Apply strong knowledge of commercial P&C; insurance products, workflows, rating principles, and insurance processes.
- Monitor insurance regulatory changes and coordinate timely updates to product and rating configurations.
- Support multi-state product implementations and rollouts, ensuring configurations meet applicable state requirements.
- Develop and maintain GOSU scripts and Guidewire configurations following established development standards.
- Utilize Guidewire Studio and configuration tools to implement and maintain PolicyCenter functionality.
- Support unit testing, system testing, rating validation, regression testing, and production deployment activities.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to rating, SBT configurations, PolicyCenter functionality, integrations, and performance.

Qualification:

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
