- 20 years+ sourcing experience within the polymer, chemical or plastic manufacturing industry.
- Knowledge of polymer chemistry, additive functions, and resin grade specifications etc.
- End-to-end procurement of core raw materials like PVC resin, plasticizers (DOP, DOTP), stabilizers, and fillers.
- Vendor development (domestic and international), cost reduction / negotiation and risk management while aligning material availability with plant production targets
- Prepare purchase orders (POs) for material procurement and manage optimum buffer stock levels of raw material to avoid production halts.
- Monitor global petrochemical cycles, crude oil movements, anti-dumping duties (ADD), and freight/logistics rates affecting raw material pricing.
