As a Data Migration Lead, a typical day involves overseeing the entire data migration process from start to finish, ensuring that all data transferred is precise, comprehensive, and fully prepared for integration into the current system. This role requires coordinating multiple teams, establishing clear migration strategies and controls, and proactively managing any risks that may arise. The position demands continuous communication and collaboration to maintain a seamless and dependable transition, while monitoring progress and addressing challenges promptly to meet project goals effectively. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to be an SME,
collaborate and manage the team to perform.- Responsible for team decisions.- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.- Develop and implement best practices for data migration processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.- Monitor project timelines and resource allocation to ensure milestones are met successfully.- Support junior team members by providing guidance and facilitating their professional growth. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Azure Data Services.- Experience with cloud-based data storage and management solutions.- Strong knowledge of data migration methodologies and tools.- Ability to design and enforce data quality controls during migration.- Familiarity with risk management strategies related to data transfer.- Excellent problem-solving skills and capability to work collaboratively across teams. Additional Information: - The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Microsoft Azure Data Services.- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.- A 15 years full time education is required.
