Description
Bristlecone India Limited is seeking an experienced Lead – SAP Project Management professional to own the full lifecycle of SAP implementation, transformation, migration, rollout and support initiatives. The role will be pivotal in planning, governance, stakeholder engagement, risk mitigation, team leadership and delivering projects on scope, schedule and budget within the SAP PM Competency – Delivery department.

Responsibilities

- Define and own project scope, schedule, budget, and delivery milestones.
- Establish governance frameworks and ensure compliance with Bristlecone PMO standards.
- Lead cross‑functional SAP delivery teams, including consultants, developers, and business analysts.
- Manage stakeholder expectations, communication, and reporting across business and IT leadership.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues proactively.
- Oversee SAP solution design, configuration, testing, data migration, and cut‑over activities.
- Ensure quality assurance and adherence to SAP best practices throughout the lifecycle.
- Conduct regular project health reviews and drive corrective actions as needed.




- Facilitate knowledge transfer and post‑go‑live support planning.
- Mentor junior project managers and contribute to competency development within the SAP PM team.

Qualifications

- Minimum 10 years of SAP project management experience, including full lifecycle implementations.
- Proven track record delivering large‑scale SAP S/4HANA, ECC, or cloud transformation projects.
- PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent certification; SAP Activate methodology knowledge preferred.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills at executive level.
- Demonstrated ability to lead geographically dispersed, multi‑disciplinary teams.
- Expertise in risk, issue, and change management within SAP environments.
- Solid understanding of SAP modules (e.g., FI/CO, MM, SD, HCM) and integration points.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or related field; MBA is a plus.
- Ability to work in quick‑paced, client‑facing consulting environment.
- Willingness to travel up to 30% domestically and internationally.
