About the Role We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Lead Consultant – Azure Infrastructure to lead cloud transformation initiatives, architect enterprise-scale Azure solutions, and provide technical leadership across migration, modernization, security, networking, and disaster recovery projects. The ideal candidate will possess deep Azure infrastructure expertise, strong consulting and stakeholder management skills, and a proven track record of delivering complex cloud engagements. This role requires a blend of technical leadership, architectural governance, customer engagement, and hands-on implementation expertise to drive successful cloud adoption and operational excellence. Key Responsibilities Azure Migration & Modernization • Lead large-scale Azure infrastructure migration programs, including lift-and-shift, re platforming, and cloud transformation initiatives. • Design and implement Azure IaaS solutions covering virtual machines, storage, networking, backup, and hybrid cloud environments.



• Assess existing environments and develop migration strategies, roadmaps, and implementation plans. • Provide technical guidance and oversight throughout migration and modernization engagements. Disaster Recovery & Business Continuity • Design and implement enterprise-grade Disaster Recovery (DR) and Business Continuity solutions using Azure-native services. • Conduct DR assessments, testing, validation, and optimization activities. Azure Landing Zones & Governance • Architect and implement Azure Landing Zones based on Microsoft's Cloud Adoption Framework (CAF) and Azure Well-Architected Framework. • Establish governance, security, identity, networking, monitoring, and operational standards. • Design subscription strategies, management group hierarchies, policy frameworks, and cost management controls. Azure Security & Compliance • Design secure cloud architectures leveraging Azure security services and best practices. • Ensure compliance with organizational and regulatory security requirements. • Drive cloud security posture improvement initiatives and security governance programs. Azure Networking • Design, implement, and troubleshoot complex Azure networking solutions • Support network architecture reviews and optimization initiatives. Azure Virtual Desktop & Windows 365 • Understanding of Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) and Windows 365 architectures. • Experience with deployment, optimization, monitoring, and operational management of end-user computing environments. Infrastructure Automation & DevOps • Develop and promote Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices for Azure deployments. • Automate cloud provisioning, configuration, and governance processes.



• Collaborate with DevOps and engineering teams to implement repeatable and scalable deployment models. Leadership & Consulting • Provide mentorship to consultants and engineers. • Act as a trusted advisor to customers and stakeholders. • Conduct architecture reviews, solution workshops, and technical presentations. • Drive technical excellence and ensure successful project delivery. • Take ownership of project outcomes, risks, escalations, and technical governance. Best Practices & Innovation • Establish and promote best practices across cloud architecture, security, networking, governance, and operations. • Stay current with Azure platform enhancements • Contribute to organizational capability development, reusable assets, and solution accelerators. Preferred / Value-Added Skills AI & Data Platform Security • Understanding of Azure AI services and Microsoft Fabric. • Knowledge of AI governance, data security, data protection, and compliance controls within cloud-native analytics and AI platforms. Qualification and Skills: • 10-15 years of relevant experience in enterprise architecture cloud • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a closely related discipline • Certifications in Azure and VMware will be an added advantage
