We are hiring for Accountant with a CA firm based in Mumbai.

n

Designation: Internal Auditor

n

Location: Churchgate

n

Shift: 10 am to 7pm

n

Alternate Saturdays off with Sunday fixed off.

n

Salary-8 lpa to 10 lpa

n

Requires 4+ years of experience in Internal Audit.

n

Location: Mumbai

n

Reporting to: Managing Partner or Designated Senior Partner

n

Qualification: Semi-Qualified or CA. Candidates with CIA / CMA / ACCA may be

n

considered where they have strong relevant internal audit experience .

n

1. Why We Are Hiring

n

We are looking for an experienced professional to establish and independently

n

manage a risk-based internal audit and process assurance function across our various

n

service lines.

n

The person will periodically review whether processes are appropriately designed,

n

consistently followed and adequately controlled, identify operational/compliance

n

risks, and recommend practical improvements.

n

This is NOT a routine audit, accounting or compliance role.

n

The person must be comfortable reviewing processes, challenging existing practices

n

and presenting findings directly to senior management.

n

n

The candidate should have:

n

Meaningful internal audit / process audit / risk controls experience

n

Experience independently conducting process walk throughs and control testing

n

Experience identifying root causes and recommending corrective actions

n





Ability to track and follow up on management action plans

n

Strong Excel / data-analysis skills

n

Excellent written and verbal communication

n

Ability to interact confidently with senior managers / Partners

n

High integrity, independence and confidentiality

n

Audit analytics / data-driven testing

n

Experience auditing a CA / accounting / qualified-services firm is a significant

n

advantage.

n

3. Strongly Preferred

n

Prior experience in any of the following:

n

Big 4 / established CA firm

n

Internal Audit / Risk Advisory

n

Professional-services organisations

n

Accounting / audit / tax / consulting operations

n

SOX / internal controls

n

Operational / process excellence

n

IT controls / access controls

n

Audit analytics / data-driven testing

n

n

4. Scope of Reviews

n

The individual may review our firm’s internal processes across:

n

Accounting / Offshore Accounting

n

Tax Compliance

n

Payroll Processing

n

Corporate & Secretarial Compliance

n

Audit & Assurance

n

Client on boarding / KYC

n

Billing & collections

n

HR / administrative processes

n

IT access and information-security controls

n

n
