About the Role
We are looking for a Creative Director / Creative Lead to lead the creative direction and overall visual quality of the NYC Vertical.
You will be responsible for defining how our content and brand communication looks, feels and communicates across platforms. The role involves working across video, visual storytelling, editing, graphics, thumbnails, typography, campaigns and digital creatives while maintaining a clear and consistent brand identity.
Key Responsibilities
Define and maintain NYC's creative direction, visual identity and design standards.
Lead creative execution across social media, campaigns, advertisements, videos, thumbnails and digital experiences.
Guide visual storytelling, editing, graphics, typography and overall creative presentation.
Develop creative concepts aligned with business and marketing objectives.
Review creative work and maintain high standards of quality, consistency and usability.




Work closely with Content, Marketing, Product and Tech teams.
Guide designers, editors, freelancers and other creative resources when required.
Create simple creative guidelines and workflows to ensure consistent and timely execution.
What We're Looking For
2–4 years of experience in Creative Design, Digital Design, Brand Design or a related field.
Robust portfolio covering branding, social media creatives, campaigns and digital content.
Strong understanding of graphic design, visual hierarchy, typography, composition and digital UI/UX.
Good understanding of visual storytelling and creative communication.
Ability to provide creative direction while understanding hands-on execution.
Strong attention to detail and understanding of visual quality.
Good communication and collaboration skills.
Experience managing designers, editors or freelancers is preferred.
