Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Fundraiser role based in Mumbai. The Fundraiser will plan, organize, and execute fundraising campaigns, events, and outreach activities to support the foundation’s health programs. Day-to-day responsibilities include identifying and researching potential donors, preparing proposals and presentations, maintaining donor databases, and managing ongoing donor communications. The role involves collaborating with program, finance, and communications teams to align fundraising messages with organizational priorities, as well as tracking and reporting on fundraising performance. The Fundraiser is expected to build long-term relationships with individual donors, corporate partners, and institutional funders, and to represent the foundation at meetings and public events.





Qualifications

- Proven experience in fundraising, donor relations, or development within nonprofit, healthcare, or social impact sectors.
- Solid skills in proposal writing, presentation development, and persuasive communication for diverse donor audiences.
- Ability to research prospective donors, analyze funding opportunities, and maintain accurate records in CRM or donor management systems.
- Experience planning and coordinating fundraising campaigns, events, and outreach activities, preferably in an urban context like Mumbai.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to build and sustain relationships with individuals, corporate partners, foundations, and community stakeholders.
- High level of organization, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines independently.
- Comfort working with data and basic financial information to prepare reports, track targets, and monitor budgets.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Social Sciences, Public Health, or a related field; advanced training in fundraising or nonprofit management is an advantage.
- Commitment to health equity and interest in public health or community development; prior experience in health-related initiatives is a plus.
- Proficiency in English, with the ability to communicate effectively in local languages commonly used in Mumbai considered beneficial.
