Daily Trade Reconciliation & Bank Statement Matching – Reconciling trades to bank statements, verifying settlement amounts
Daily Bank Reconciliation – For purchase & sales accounts, matching bank entries daily
Offline Trade Accounting – Identifying, documenting, and accounting for offline/OTC trades when they occur
Bond Redemption Monitoring – Tracking partial and full redemptions of principal amounts
Interest Income Monitoring – Tracking interest receipts against record dates and coupon schedules
Variance Analysis & Exception Resolution – Highlighting differences in interest income and redemption amounts, investigating and resolving issues
Daily Trade Accounting & P&L; Computation – Ensuring all trades are recorded and daily realized/unrealized P&L; is computed
Investment Committee Documentation – Verifying approvals obtained for all bond purchases
Daily Position & Liquidity Reporting – Publishing investment positions, liquidity positions, and P&L; to management daily
Month-End Closure – Complete reconciliation, position verification, P&L; finalization, and account closure
