A leading EdTech and early childhood learning company is keen to hire a Finance qualified with 10+ years of experience for the role of Finance Controller. This role is responsible for leading the organization’s financial operations and strategy while ensuring compliances, reporting while driving business growth and profitability. It involves partnering closely with leadership to provide strategic insights, manage risks, and optimize financial performance by leading a finance team.

Financial Planning & Strategy:
Develop and execute financial strategies to optimize business growth and profitability.
Lead annual budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
Provide strategic financial insights to leadership for decision-making.
Financial Control & Compliance:
Oversee and be hands-on on financial controls, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements (GST, TDS, FEMA, CST, etc.).
Manage statutory audits, internal audits, and tax filings in coordination with auditors and consultants.




Ensure timely and accurate GST filings and adherence to local and international tax laws.
Accounting & Reporting:
Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, including P&L;, balance sheets, cash flow statements, and reconciliations.
Implement strong financial governance and internal control measures.
Cost & Risk Management:
Assess financial risks and develop mitigation strategies.
Monitor cash flow and liquidity management to ensure financial stability.
Work closely with department heads and senior leadership to align financial and operational goals.
Support financial negotiations, investment planning, and business expansion strategies.
Provide financial modelling and scenario analysis for business decisions.
Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.
Enhance financial systems, automation, and ERP implementation for improved efficiency.
Drive continuous improvements in financial reporting, analytics, and business intelligence.
Strong knowledge of IFRS, GAAP, and financial regulations.
Hands-on experience with financial reporting, P&L; management, and compliance.
Proficiency in ERP systems, financial software, and advanced Excel.
Education : CA / CS/ MBA in Finance / CFA / CPA or equivalent qualification.
Experience : 10+ years in financial management, controlling, or leadership roles.
