As we expand our multi-modality R&D; platforms, we are building a strong, technology-focused IP function to support innovation from early discovery through development, commercialization and strategic partnerships.

n

We are looking for experienced IP professionals with expertise in one or more of the following areas:

n

1. Gene & Cell Therapy IP

n

CRISPR | Gene Editing | CAR-T | Cell & Gene Therapy | AAV/LV | Gene Delivery

n

n
- Develop IP strategy and build patent portfolios around gene/cell therapy platforms.
n
- Identify inventions and lead patentability, drafting and prosecution in India and international jurisdictions.
n
- Lead/oversee FTO, patent landscapes, competitive intelligence and third-party IP assessments.
n
- Support licensing, collaborations, due diligence and IP-related business decisions.
n

2. RNA & Molecular Therapeutics IP

n

mRNA | siRNA | Oligonucleotides | RNA Engineering | LNP/Delivery | Molecular Therapeutics

n

n
- Develop IP strategy and build differentiated patent portfolios for RNA and molecular therapeutic technologies.
n




- Identify and capture inventions covering sequences, modifications, compositions, delivery, formulations, manufacturing and therapeutic applications.
n
- Manage patent drafting/prosecution and external counsel across key jurisdictions.
n
- Support FTO, competitive intelligence, licensing, technology evaluation and strategic collaborations.
n

3. Biologics & Emerging Technologies IP

n

Biologics | Antibodies/Proteins | Protein Engineering | Computational Biology | AI/ML | Synthetic Biology

n

n
- Develop IP strategies for biologics and emerging computational/biological technologies.
n
- Work with experimental and computational R&D; teams to identify, evaluate and protect inventions.
n
- Lead patent drafting/prosecution and support FTO, landscapes and competitive intelligence.
n
- Support IP due diligence, licensing, technology transfer, collaborations and emerging technology evaluation.
n

Common Responsibilities

n

Across all three roles, the successful candidates will:

n

n
- Partner closely with R&D; scientists to identify and protect commercially important inventions.
n
- Develop and manage global patent portfolios and external patent counsel.
n
- Conduct/oversee patentability, FTO, landscapes, claim mapping and competitive intelligence.
n
- Identify third-party IP risks, design-around opportunities and potential licensing requirements.
n
- Support IP due diligence, licensing,



collaborations and technology-transfer activities.
n
- Contribute to patent lifecycle management, IP governance and strategic portfolio decisions.
n
- Work closely with Legal, Business Development and senior management on IP-related matters.
n
- Help build a scalable, business-oriented IP function.
n

Candidate Profile

n

n
- 5–15 years of relevant experience in biotechnology, biopharma, pharmaceuticals, life-sciences or technology-focused IP.
n
- Strong patent drafting and prosecution experience, preferably with international exposure.
n
- Demonstrated experience in patentability, FTO, landscapes and/or competitive intelligence.
n
- Experience with licensing, collaborations, due diligence or technology transfer is highly desirable.
n
- Degree in Biotechnology, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Genetics, Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Chemistry, Bioinformatics or related discipline.
n
- Robust scientific, analytical, communication and stakeholder-management skills.
n
- Ability to translate complex science and IP issues into clear strategic and commercial recommendations.
n
- Candidates with a combination of in-house and IP law-firm experience are particularly encouraged to apply.
n

*Final designation will be based on experience, technical depth, leadership capability and overall fit.
