Job Description Architectural Designer n n Responsibilities: n n n Work with design team members to assemble details, shop drawings and submittal packages for wall cladding systems n Work with the project team on conceptual designs, presentations, design development, and production n Proficient use of computer-based drawing software: Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, BIM n Ability to perform drafting, layout work and straightforward calculations relative to design/construction drawings n Prepare shop drawings from supplied architectural plans and sketches n Communicate with the design team, sales team, architects, designers to gather proper technical data for each project. n Provide timely updates for drawing completion and workload n Perform component-based material takeoffs from prepared shop drawings n n n Skills and Experience:



n n n Experience and proficiency in Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD software is required n In-depth familiarity with the architectural design process n Exposure to drafting associated with wall cladding systems and/or building envelope products is preferred n Ability to read and interpret construction documents from architectural drawings, structural drawings, and related construction specifications. n Robust organization skills with self-driven personality n Problem solving ability and desire n Interpersonal verbal and written skills n Proficient in MS Office programs, with an emphasis on Excel and Word n n
