About RES - Liquidscape

Liquidscape, the water-feature division of Renewable Energy Solutions, specialises in the design, engineering and execution of swimming pools, architectural fountains, musical/dancing fountains, water bodies and associated electro-mechanical systems.

We have successfully executed multiple projects across Odisha, including projects in Bhubaneswar, Rourkela, Sambalpur, Koraput, Titlagarh and other locations, and currently have ongoing projects in the state.

We are now establishing a dedicated business-development operation in Bhubaneswar to aggressively expand across Odisha.

The opportunity

We are looking for a commercially aggressive, well-connected Business Development Manager who can take ownership of the Odisha market.

This is not a conventional sales role.

The successful candidate will be expected to build relationships with the people who influence projects before they become tenders or quotations.

Key responsibilities

- Develop Liquidscape‘s business across Odisha
- Build relationships with:
- Architects
- Landscape architects
- Developers
- Builders
- Government departments
- PSUs
- Industrial organisations
- Hotels & resorts
- PMCs and contractors
- Identify upcoming projects at an early stage
- Get Liquidscape involved during the design/specification stage
- Generate enquiries for swimming pools and fountains
- Develop fountain and water-feature opportunities in government, institutional and private projects
- Build relationships with decision-makers and project influencers




- Leverage existing Liquidscape Odisha projects to generate introductions
- Conduct regular client meetings and site visits
- Prepare and follow up on proposals and quotations
- Coordinate with the Kolkata technical/design team
- Monitor competitors and market developments
- Develop and maintain a strong CRM pipeline
- Travel extensively across Odisha as required

Ideal candidate

We are looking for someone who:

- Has 7+ years of B2B/project-sales experience
- Has a robust understanding of the Odisha construction/project ecosystem
- Is based in or strongly connected to Bhubaneswar
- Has existing relationships with architects/developers/contractors/industrial organisations
- Is comfortable approaching senior decision-makers
- Has a proven record of opening new accounts
- Is commercially aggressive and target-oriented
- Is comfortable with extensive field travel
- Communicates confidently in Odia, English and Hindi
- Can understand technical products and sell solutions rather than commodities

Preferred industries

Candidates from the following industries will be particularly relevant:

Experience specifically in swimming pools/fountains is not mandatory.
