Role & responsibilities
Design and develop machine components, sheet metal parts, and assemblies using SolidWorks.
Prepare 3D models, 2D manufacturing drawings, flat patterns, and BOMs as per production requirements.
Ensure designs are suitable for laser cutting, CNC bending, fabrication, machining, and assembly.
Coordinate with Production, Fabrication, and Engineering teams to resolve design issues and improve quality, manufacturability, and cost efficiency.
Preferred candidate profile
Experience in Mechanical Design with hands-on experience in SolidWorks.
Solid knowledge of SolidWorks Part, Assembly, Drawing & Sheet Metal modules.
Positive understanding of sheet metal fabrication, laser cutting, CNC bending, welding, bend allowance and K-factor.
Knowledge of mechanical drawings, GD&T;, tolerances, BOM and manufacturing processes; experience in machine design/manufacturing industry preferred.
