We are seeking an experienced Senior Mainframe Developer with solid expertise in IBM Mainframe technologies to design, develop, maintain, and support mission-critical applications. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in COBOL programming, JCL, DB2, CICS, VSAM, and mainframe application support within large-scale enterprise settings.
Key Responsibilities.
Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
Design, develop, test, and implement mainframe applications.
Maintain and enhance existing COBOL, JCL, CICS, and DB2 programs.
Perform impact analysis and provide estimates for development activities.
Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely resolutions.
Collaborate with business analysts, QA teams, and stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
Conduct code reviews and mentor junior developers.
Optimize application performance and ensure adherence to coding standards.
Participate in release management, deployment, and production support activities.
Prepare technical documentation and knowledge-sharing materials.
