Core Responsibilities (L2 OnPrem)
Provide Level2 support for Citrix Virtual Apps/Desktops (XenApp/XenDesktop), resolving escalated incidents and service requests.
Deploy, configure, and maintain onprem Citrix components such as StoreFront, Delivery Controllers, VDA, Citrix ADC/NetScaler.
Monitor performance and user experience using Citrix Director, Studio, and other monitoring tools; identify bottlenecks and optimize performance.
Manage user profiles and policies, including Ivanti ,WEM, FSLogix, and AD Group Policies.
Apply patches, updates, and perform maintenance to keep the environment secure and reliable.
Troubleshoot complex issues, including login slowness, session failures, profile corruption, and NetScaler connectivity problems.
Document configurations, SOPs, and troubleshooting guides for internal use.
Collaborate with crossfunctional teams (network, storage, security, Windows, virtualization) to resolve multilayer issues.
Manage user access and permissions, ensuring compliance with security policies.

Team & Operational Responsibilities
Ticket management: Handle L2 queue, prioritize issues, and escalate to L3 when required.




Support change management: Participate in planned changes, upgrades, and migrations.
Provide knowledge sharing and training to L1 engineers.

Required Technical Skills
Citrix Virtual Apps & Desktops (CVAD) – solid handson experience.
Citrix ADC / NetScaler – load balancing, gateway, certificates, authentication.
Active Directory, Group Policy, Windows Server administration.
Profile management: FSLogix, WEM. Ivanti
PowerShell scripting for automation and troubleshooting.
Networking fundamentals: TCP/IP, routing, firewalls, LAN/WAN.
Hypervisors: VMware ESXi, HyperV (varies by organization).

Qualifications
3–5+ years of experience in Citrix administration/engineering.
Bachelor’s degree in IT/Computer Science (preferred).
Citrix certifications (CCAV, CCPV) are highly desirable.

Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities
