Key Responsibilities
Logistics Management: Coordinate shipment activities, including tracking and tracing, arranging transportation (sea, air, road), and monitoring warehouse delivery.
Compliance and Documentation: Ensure adherence to all import/export regulations, maintaining compliance with customs agents (CHA), and preparing necessary documentation like invoices, packing lists, and letters of credit.
Supplier and Vendor Relations: Negotiate with freight forwarders and suppliers to secure favorable terms, reduced rates, and timely deliveries.
Budgeting and Data Analysis: Manage department budgets, analyze import data for cost-saving prospects, and provide reports on trade trends.
Process Improvement: Develop policies and procedures to increase efficiency in the supply chain.
