Job Summary

We are currently seeking a Field Tech Senior Associate to join our team in Pune, Maharashtra, India.

Responsibilities
Preparation of Rack elevation for new device installation.
Must have strong knowledge of HP ProLiantBlade, Oracle and Dell PowerEdge servers.
Sound knowledge of general Health Safety of devices in Data Centre.
Governance for the rack stack, power Cable connectivity for Server / network equipment.
Overview of hardware and Data Centre activity.
Review for Hardware Failures Trend Analysis, Hardware Uptime report.
Complete device inventory management for Data Centre.
Understanding of Data Centre environment (Power, Cooling, Security, Processes ETC.)
Vendor / OEM coordination for Network / Server equipment.
Device movement, redeployment of the assets and disposal of EOL assets.
Understanding of LTO media, tape library, media backup and restore.
Tickets / SLA management.
Power Load Consumption Details.
Vendor coordination for Network and Fiber Cabling for Tech rooms.
Inventory management.




Hands-on experience to configure and install various network devices and services (e.g., routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, VPN, QoS).
Hands-on experience with monitoring, network diagnostic and network analytics tools.
Should have positive technical troubleshooting skills to resolve issues.
Understanding of the OSI or TCP/IP model and routing protocols.

Requirements
Bachelors degree from an authorized university.
Relevant server certification will be an added advantage.
Minimum 2-3yrs of exp for L1 position
Positive communication skills, both written and verbal
Basic understanding of ITIL Framework is a must (SLA, CHG, Problem, and incident mgmt.)
Knowledge on ticketing tool preferrable ServiceNow.
Willingness to work in rotational shifts 24*7 setting.
Travel including overnight domestic may be required
