Role & responsibilities
Assemble and build gear cutting machines as per mechanical assembly procedures and specifications.
Should have solid practical knowledge of assembly of cutting machine technology.
Read and interpret mechanical drawings, assembly drawings, BOMs and technical specifications.
Perform accurate assembly, fitting, alignment and setting of machine components.
Handle assembly of machine beds, columns, slides, tables, spindles, gearboxes, shafts, bearings, guideways, ball screws, couplings and drive systems.
Understand and perform machine alignment, leveling, geometric accuracy and precision setting.
Preferred candidate profile
Diploma / BE / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering / Production Engineering / Machine Tool Engineering.
Experience in CNC gear cutting machines or all precision machine tools will be highly preferred.
