We are looking for an experienced Safety Officer with solid exposure to safety management in hazardous manufacturing environments. The candidate should have hands-on experience in hazardous operations, including Paint Shop, Phosphating, and Weld Shop.
Educational Qualification
Degree in Engineering/Technology.
Diploma or Post Graduate Diploma in Industrial Safety.
Candidates who have completed the Regional Labour Institute (RLI) Safety Diploma will be given first preference.
Experience
6–8 years of relevant experience in safety functions.
Prior experience in hazardous factories/manufacturing environments is mandatory.
Experience handling safety requirements related to Paint Shop, Phosphating, Weld Shop, and other hazardous operations will be preferred.
Key Responsibilities
Ensure compliance with statutory safety requirements and applicable regulations.
Identify workplace hazards and implement appropriate risk-control measures.
Conduct safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments.
Monitor safety practices across hazardous operations.
Conduct safety training, awareness programs, and toolbox talks for employees.
Investigate accidents/incidents and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
Ensure implementation of safety procedures, standards, and emergency preparedness.
Coordinate with various departments to maintain a protected working environment.
Preferred Candidate Profile
RLI-qualified candidates will be given first preference.
Strong knowledge of industrial safety practices and statutory requirements.
Hands-on experience in hazardous manufacturing operations.
Positive communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to independently manage safety activities at the plant level.
