Roles and Responsibilities
Prepare 3D models, 2D drawings, assembly drawings, fabrication drawings, and detailed part drawings.
Perform necessary design calculations for shafts, bearings, gears, belts, chains, structures, power transmission, etc.
Modify existing machine designs according to specific customer and production requirements.
Select appropriate materials and standard mechanical components for machine design.
Prepare and maintain BOM (Bill of Materials) and component specifications.
Prepare and maintain proper drawing revisions, design records, and technical documentation.
Maintain confidentiality of company designs, drawings, and technical information.
