Job Description

We are looking for experienced Configuration Management & ServiceNow CMDB specialists with robust expertise in CMDB governance, configuration management processes, CI lifecycle management, and ServiceNow CMDB.

The ideal candidate should have a process/governance-focused background rather than hands-on ServiceNow development or technical administration experience.

Key Responsibilities
Manage and govern Configuration Management and ServiceNow CMDB processes.
Own CMDB health, data quality, completeness, correctness, and compliance.
Manage the complete Configuration Item (CI) lifecycle including creation, updates, normalization, relationships, and retirement.
Define and monitor CMDB governance policies, standards, procedures, and controls.
Track CMDB KPIs, compliance metrics, and health scores and prepare management dashboards/reports.




Identify CMDB data gaps and drive corrective actions with relevant stakeholders.
Work with application, infrastructure, service management, and operations teams to maintain CMDB accuracy.
Support CSDM / Configuration Management initiatives and ensure alignment with ITIL practices.
Conduct governance reviews, audits, and compliance assessments.
Drive continuous improvement in Configuration Management processes.
Coordinate with stakeholders during CMDB implementation, enhancement, testing, and remediation activities.
Support Major Incident, Problem, Change, and Knowledge Management processes where they have dependencies on CMDB.
Ensure adherence to ITIL-based Configuration Management practices.
