Job description for the role of Design Engineer

Role: Responsible for designing & manufacture of custom built hydraulic powerpacks, hydraulic cylinders, manifolds, rotary actuators.

Education: Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering

Experience/Skills:
Proficiency in CAD design tools, specifically SolidWorks and AutoCAD.
Solid foundational knowledge of hydraulic fluid power pack principles, sealing technologies, machining, and welding processes.

Location: Ansa Industrial Estate, Sakinaka, Andheri east

Activities to perform
Create detailed 3D models and 2D manufacturing drawings for hydraulic cylinders, manifolds, and powerpacks using SolidWorks and AutoCAD.
Perform accurate calculations for sizing, pressure, stroke, and flow requirements for hydraulic systems.
Select appropriate hydraulic components (pumps, valves, seals, manifolds, and motors) based on client and application needs.
Prepare detailed Bill of Materials (BOM), hydraulic schematics, and quality testing procedures.
Assist shop floor workers during assembly, troubleshooting, and in-house testing/quality assurance protocols.
