Role & responsibilities
Implement and monitor Health, Safety & Workplace (HSE) policies, procedures, and site safety plans.
Conduct regular site safety inspections and identify unsafe acts, unsafe conditions, and potential hazards.
Prepare and review Risk Assessments, Job Safety Analysis (JSA), and Method Statements for various activities.
Ensure compliance with the Permit-to-Work (PTW) system for high-risk activities.
Conduct Safety Induction, Toolbox Talks, Pre-Job Safety Meetings, and safety awareness training.
Monitor high-risk activities such as work at height, lifting and rigging, hot work, confined space, excavation, electrical work, and material handling.
Ensure proper use of PPE and verify that safety equipment is available, suitable,



and in serviceable condition.
Inspect scaffolding, ladders, lifting tools and tackles, fire-fighting equipment, electrical equipment, and other safety appliances.
Monitor housekeeping, material storage, access/egress, barricading, signage, and workplace conditions.
Ensure protected execution of construction, fabrication, erection, maintenance, and industrial activities.
Monitor contractor and subcontractor activities and ensure compliance with client and statutory safety requirements.
