Role Summary

We are looking for an experienced Accounts & Finance Head to manage RCI's complete accounting, statutory compliance, and financial reporting function, while also driving bank liaising and fund-raising for the company's working capital and growth needs. This is a hands-on leadership role suited to a candidate who is equally comfortable finalizing books of accounts and negotiating credit facilities with banks.

Key Responsibilities
Banking & Fund Raising (Primary Focus)
Act as the primary point of contact for liaising with banks, NBFCs, and financial institutions
Manage existing banking relationships renewals, limit enhancements, documentation, and covenant compliance
Prepare financial data, projections, and proposals required for loan applications and credit assessments
Monitor fund utilization and ensure timely servicing of bank obligations
Balance Sheet Finalization & Financial Reporting
Finalize the annual balance sheet, P&L;, and other financial statements in coordination with auditors
Ensure books of accounts are maintained accurately and are audit-ready at all times
Coordinate with statutory and internal auditors for timely completion of audits
Provide periodic MIS reports and financial summaries to the MD
Statutory Compliance




Ensure timely and accurate compliance with TDS and other statutory requirements
Oversee GST compliance in coordination with RCI's external GST consultant (GST filing itself is handled by the consultant; this role ensures data accuracy, coordination, and timely closure on RCI's end)
Ensure compliance with other applicable statutory requirements (PF, ESI, ROC, Income Tax, etc.)
Stay updated on regulatory changes affecting the logistics/transport sector and flag implications proactively
ERP & Systems
Work within RCI's existing ERP system for day-to-day accounting, reporting, and reconciliation
Ensure accurate and disciplined data entry across the ERP by self and team
Use ERP-generated data for MIS, fund planning, and compliance reporting
Suggest process improvements within the ERP framework to improve reporting accuracy and turnaround
Team & Process Oversight
Supervise the accounts team handling day-to-day bookkeeping, ledgers, and reconciliations
Ensure internal financial controls and approval processes are followed
Support the MD on financial matters requiring business judgment, within a defined escalation frameworkRole & responsibilities
