Full Stack Developer for the Developmental Paediatrics Unit ( 1686)

Responsibilities
Will be predominantly involved in App Development and research projects

Qualifications
MTech in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology and related disciplines.
Certification in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning through a full time coursework programme.
Experience in full stack with application development. Proficiency in Python, SQL, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3.
Demonstrable experience in full-stack web application development.
Working knowledge of Bash/Linux command-line environments and version control systems, particularly Git.
Experience with a Python web framework such as Django, Flask, or FastAPI.
Experience developing front-end interfaces using React, Angular, Vue.js, or a comparable framework.
Experience designing, querying, and managing relational databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or SQLite.
Skills in data management, data cleaning, data visualisation, and dashboard development.
Knowledge of RESTful API design, integration, authentication, and role-based access control.
Familiarity with cloud deployment, containerisation, or DevOps tools, such as Docker, AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, CI/CD pipelines, or Nginx.




Knowledge of secure software-development practices, including data privacy, encryption, access control, audit logs, backup, and recovery.
Ability to write clean, well-documented, maintainable code and conduct testing, debugging, and code review.
Robust problem-solving, communication, documentation, and team-oriented working skills.
Desirable experience:
Experience in healthcare, clinical research, public-health, or hospital information-system projects.
Experience building AI/ML-enabled applications and deploying ML models through APIs.
Experience with statistical programming and visualisation libraries, including Pandas, NumPy, Matplotlib, Plotly, or Power BI.
Experience handling sensitive patient or research data in accordance with institutional ethics and data-governance requirements.
