Workato Integration Job Description
Develop, configure, and maintain Workato recipes to integrate SaaS applications, enterprise systems, databases, and APIs.
Design and implement REST/SOAP API integrations using Workato connectors, triggers, actions, and custom APIs.
Build scalable integration workflows involving data mapping, transformation, routing, validation, and business logic.
Integrate with platforms such as MuleSoft, TIBCO, Dell Boomi, and other middleware/integration systems.
Work with JSON, XML, SQL, webhooks, APIs, and authentication mechanisms such as OAuth and API keys.
Implement error handling, exception workflows, retries, logging, and monitoring for reliable integrations.
Perform integration testing, API testing, regression testing, and end-to-end validation of workflows and data flows.




Troubleshoot integration failures by analyzing job reports, logs, API responses, and data discrepancies.
Validate data movement and transformation between source and target applications.
Support CI/CD and deployment processes using Git, Jenkins, or similar DevOps tools.
Collaborate with developers, QA engineers, business analysts, and stakeholders to understand integration requirements and deliver solutions.
Prepare and maintain integration documentation, technical specifications, test scenarios, and support guides.
Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
