Role : Data Scientist

Location: Remote.

Work Model: Offshore delivery with overlap to US time zone as needed

Position Summary

The Data Scientist will support analytics, machine learning, and data-driven decision-making for the REI account. This role will work with business stakeholders to identify opportunities, build models, and deliver insights that improve operations, customer experience, and financial performance.

Key Responsibilities
Partner with business and IT stakeholders to identify analytics prospects and define problem statements.
Collect, clean, and analyze large datasets from multiple sources.
Build predictive and prescriptive models using statistical and machine learning techniques.
Develop dashboards, reports, and visualizations to communicate insights.
Validate models, monitor performance, and iterate based on feedback.
Document methodologies, assumptions, results, and recommendations.
Support data governance, data quality, and security requirements.





Required Qualifications
4+ years of experience in data science, analytics, or related roles.
Solid proficiency in Python, R, SQL, and data manipulation libraries (e.g., pandas, NumPy).
Experience with machine learning frameworks (e.g., scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch).
Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker).
Robust statistical analysis, modeling, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and storytelling abilities.
Experience working in an offshore delivery model with US stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications
Experience in retail, e-commerce, or consumer goods industries.
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and big data tools (Spark, Hadoop).
Advanced degree in statistics, computer science, engineering, or related field.
