Operations & Fleet management
Plan, organize, and monitor daily dispatch to optimize routes and maximize vehicle utilization.
Track vendors On-Time Delivery and Turn Around Time (TAT)
Resolve real-time transit issues, such as vehicle breakdowns and route diversions.
Vendor & Cost Management
Source, onboard, and evaluate third-party logistics providers and local transporters.
Analyze logistics data to identify cost-saving prospects, negotiate freight rates and terms to align with budget targets.
Audit freight invoices to ensure accurate billing before final payment approval.
Coordinate closely with Factory & warehouse teams to streamline loading schedules
Data Analysis & Reporting
Prepare weekly and monthly MIS reports regarding freight expenses, transit times and transporter efficiency for senior management.
Educational Qualification:
Bachelors Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Commerce, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
MBA/PGDM in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations, or Business Administration will be preferred.
