Role Detail: As Manager Outsourcing and Subcontracting
To take decision for L1 vendor for placement of purchase order.
To discuss and negotiate with vendor.
To ensure timely preparation of purchase order by buyer and material movement to
vendor for start of manufacturing.
Ensuring quality with FTR initiative and delivery of outsourced products.
Responsibilities:
Vendor development for outsource procurement
Development of processes for pressure parts outsourcing activity
Develop and train team for improvement in outsource processes
Coordination with other departments like QC, F&A;, Stores, Logistics, Planning, inventory
control.
Expediting
Material Accounting/Reconciliation for Outsource items where raw material is free issue
from LMB.
GST compliance from vendor
Follow up transportation and timely quality inspection.
Troubleshooting
Driving Kaizen, 5 S initiative among team and vendor
