Role & responsibilities :-
Prepare detailed 2D AutoCAD drawings for retail fixtures, displays, signage, and store interiors.
Develop 3D models and realistic renderings based on brand guidelines and client requirements.
Prepare shop drawings / production drawings with dimensions, material specifications, hardware details, and construction methods.
Understand and work with materials such as MDF, plywood, solid wood, MS, SS, aluminium profiles, acrylic, glass, laminates, paint and powder coating.
Convert concept drawings and brand guidelines into manufacturing-ready drawings.
Prepare cutting lists, BOMs and material requirements.
Coordinate with the production, purchase, estimation and installation teams to ensure drawings are practical and cost-effective.
Review drawings and identify design, fabrication and installation issues before production.
Make revisions based on client/brand feedback and site conditions.
Coordinate with clients, architects, project managers and vendors when required.
Visit sites when required to take measurements and understand installation requirements.




Ensure drawings are prepared according to approved designs, dimensions and brand standards.
Support the estimation team by providing accurate material quantities and design inputs for costing.
Maintain proper records of approved drawings, revisions and project files.
Assist in developing standardized and cost-effective fixture designs for repeated/mass production.
Resolve production and installation-related technical issues.

Required Skills
AutoCAD mandatory
3D software such as SketchUp / SolidWorks / 3ds Max / Fusion 360 – preferred
Knowledge of retail fixtures and furniture manufacturing
Good understanding of materials, hardware and fabrication methods
Ability to read architectural and engineering drawings
Knowledge of BOM, cutting list and shop drawings
Valuable understanding of dimensions, tolerances and construction details
Basic knowledge of Excel and MS Office
Valuable communication and coordination skills
Ability to work under tight project deadline
