We are seeking a skilled and proactive Chemical Engineer to monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize our chemical manufacturing processes. Based at our Vapi plant, you will support day-to-day batch and continuous operations to ensure peak productivity, safety, and quality compliance.
Role & responsibilities
Monitor and optimize chemical manufacturing processes to achieve production, quality, yield, and efficiency targets.
Support day-to-day plant operations, including batch and continuous manufacturing processes.
Analyze process parameters and identify prospects for improving productivity, energy efficiency, and raw-material utilization.
Troubleshoot process deviations, equipment-related issues, and production problems.
Develop and maintain process documentation, SOPs, batch records, process flow diagrams, and operating procedures.
Work closely with Production, Quality, Maintenance, EHS, R&D;, and Engineering teams to resolve operational issues.
Conduct process trials, scale-up activities, and plant improvement projects.
Monitor key process parameters and prepare production/process performance reports.
Participate in root-cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions.
Assist in equipment selection, process design, commissioning, and modification projects.
Ensure processes are operated in accordance with approved procedures, specifications, and safety requirements.
Support implementation of process safety initiatives, risk assessments, HAZOP studies, and management-of-change activities.
Identify and implement cost-reduction and waste-minimization opportunities.
Ensure compliance with applicable environmental, health, safety, and regulatory requirements.
Maintain accurate technical records and documentation related to processes and improvements.
Preferred candidate profile
Education: B.E. / B.Tech in Chemical Engineering
5 Days working.
