Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Assistant Manager – Inventory Audit with solid hands-on experience in retail inventory/store audits. The candidate will be responsible for conducting physical stock verification, night audits, inventory reconciliation, and identifying stock discrepancies across stores.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct inventory and stock audits across retail stores.
Perform night audits and physical stock verification.
Reconcile physical stock with system stock and identify shortages/excess.
Investigate and report inventory discrepancies and variances.
Conduct cycle counts and surprise stock audits as required.
Prepare detailed audit reports, MIS and variance reports for management.
Coordinate with store teams and internal/external audit teams.
Monitor compliance with inventory control and stock-handling processes.
Travel extensively across India for store audits.
Mandatory Requirements
Retail inventory audit experience is mandatory.
Hands-on experience in physical stock verification and stock reconciliation.
Experience in night audits/night stock audits is required.
Solid understanding of inventory discrepancies, shortage/excess analysis and audit processes.
Valuable analytical, reporting and MS Excel skills.
Candidate must be comfortable travelling 15–20 days per month across India.
Candidates from retail, apparel, fashion, lifestyle, supermarket, footwear or similar retail businesses will be preferred.
