Key Responsibilities
Drafting & Design: Assist in preparing 2D floor plans, elevations, false ceiling layouts, and basic 3D views using design software.
Space Planning: Help develop furniture layouts, circulation plans, and spatial arrangements.
Sourcing & FF&E;: Research and organize samples of furniture, fixtures, equipment (FF&E;), fabrics, and finishes.
Presentations: Help assemble mood boards, material boards, and digital presentation decks (PPT/InDesign) for client meetings.
Coordination: Communicate with vendors, catalog materials, and shadow senior designers during site visits or contractor briefings.
Requirements & Qualifications
Education: Currently enrolled in or a recent graduate of a Bachelor’s or Diploma program in Interior Design, Architecture, or related fields.
Software Skills: Basic to intermediate proficiency in tools like AutoCAD, SketchUp, Photoshop, or InDesign.
Core Skills: Solid eye for aesthetics, basic spatial awareness, and willingness to learn material properties.
Soft Skills: Clear communication, organization, and readiness to work in a rapid-paced studio setting.
