Video Editor Intern

About the Role

We're looking for a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor Intern to join our team. You'll work closely with our content/marketing team to edit engaging videos for social media, YouTube, and other platforms. This is a excellent chance to build a strong portfolio while learning from experienced editors.

Responsibilities
Edit raw footage into polished videos for social media (Reels, Shorts, YouTube, etc.)
Add captions, transitions, sound effects, and background music
Collaborate with the content team to understand project requirements and brand voice
Organize and manage video assets and project files
Stay updated on video trends, formats, and editing styles
Meet deadlines while maintaining quality standards

Requirements
Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Film, Media, Design, or related field (or equivalent self-taught experience)
Proficiency in video editing software (Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or CapCut)
Basic understanding of color grading, pacing, and storytelling through video




A portfolio or reel showcasing previous edits (personal or academic projects welcome)
Strong attention to detail and ability to take feedback constructively
Good time management and ability to meet deadlines

Nice to Have
Experience with motion graphics (After Effects)
Familiarity with short-form content trends (Instagram Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts)
Basic knowledge of sound design
