Dispatch Executive – Job Description (JD)Experience: 3–5 Years
Manage daily dispatch operations and ensure timely delivery of materials/products.
Coordinate with warehouse, logistics, and transport teams for smooth dispatch activities.
Prepare dispatch documentation including invoices, e-way bills, challans, and shipment records.
Track shipments and update dispatch status to internal teams and clients.
Ensure proper packaging, loading, and inventory handling as per company standards.
Maintain accurate dispatch records and ERP/system entries.
Resolve dispatch-related issues and coordinate for timely delivery.
Follow safety, compliance, and operational procedures during dispatch processes.

Qualifications and Skills:

· Education: Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or a related field (preferred). A high school diploma or equivalent may suffice with relevant experience.

Key Responsibilities:

· Coordinate and schedule the dispatch of goods, vehicles, or services based on customer orders and operational requirements.

· Monitor and track shipments, providing real-time updates to customers and stakeholders.

· Communicate effectively with drivers, logistics providers, warehouse staff, and other departments to ensure seamless operations.





· Resolve issues or delays in the dispatch process, troubleshooting problems to maintain delivery schedules.

· Maintain accurate records of dispatch activities, including delivery logs, driver schedules, and shipment reports.

· Optimize delivery routes and schedules to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.

· Ensure compliance with transportation regulations, safety standards, and company policies.

· Prepare and analyse performance reports to identify areas for operational improvement.

· Liaise with suppliers, transport providers, and customers to ensure timely and cost-effective deliveries.

Implement and enforce procedures to streamline dispatch operations and improve customer satisfaction.
