Key Responsibilities
Perform hemodialysis procedures as per the prescribed treatment plan and hospital protocols.
Prepare and operate dialysis machines and related equipment.
Monitor patients vital signs and condition before, during, and after dialysis.
Handle and monitor vascular access, including AV fistula, graft, and catheter.
Identify and respond appropriately to dialysis-related complications and emergencies.
Maintain strict infection-control and hygiene standards within the dialysis unit.
Ensure proper cleaning, disinfection, and maintenance of dialysis equipment.
Maintain accurate dialysis records, patient reports, and treatment documentation.
Troubleshoot basic dialysis machine and equipment issues.
Coordinate with nephrologists, doctors, nurses, and other healthcare staff.
Maintain adequate stock of dialysis consumables and report shortages.
Guide and support junior dialysis technicians when required.
Follow all hospital SOPs, safety protocols, and quality standards.
