Safety Head – Tower Crane OperationsKey Responsibilities:
Tower crane erection, dismantling aur operation ki complete safety monitoring.
Crane site par daily safety inspection karna.
Crane operator, rigger, signalman/banksman aur maintenance team ke safety practices monitor karna.
Lifting plan, method statement aur risk assessment verify/approve karna.
Crane ki SWL, load chart, lifting capacity aur wind-speed limits ensure karna.
Lifting accessories—wire rope, sling, shackle, hook, chain etc.—ki inspection ensure karna.
Crane erection/dismantling ke time safety procedures strictly follow karwana.
Work at Height, Lifting, Electrical, Barricading aur PPE compliance maintain karna.
Daily/weekly/monthly safety inspection records maintain karna.
Near-miss,



incident aur accident ki investigation karke CAPA prepare karna.
Toolbox talks aur safety training conduct karna.
Emergency rescue plan aur emergency preparedness ensure karna.
Applicable Factories Act / OSH requirements, applicable lifting-equipment standards and client/site safety requirements ke compliance ko monitor karna.
Third-party inspection certificates aur crane-related statutory/technical documents ka record maintain karna.
Unsafe condition ya unsafe lifting activity ko immediately stop karne ka authority hona.
Safety officers/supervisors ki team ko manage karna.
Management ko monthly Safety KPI / MIS report submit karna.
