Core Responsibilities
Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure 100% adherence to state and national labor laws (e.g., Factories Act), statutory compliances (PF, ESIC), and safety standards.
Talent Acquisition & Onboarding: Oversee end-to-end recruitment for plant workers, engineers, and administrative staff.
Performance Management & Training: Identify skills gaps, coordinate safety and operational training programs, and manage appraisals for all factory employees.
Payroll & Benefits: Collaborate with finance to ensure accurate processing of payroll, shift allowances, and overtime for contract and full-time labor.
Grievance Resolution: Serve as the primary point of contact for resolving conflicts, maintaining a healthy work environment, and enforcing disciplinary protocols.
Key Requirements
Experience: Typically 8+ to 12+ years of progressive HR experience, with a robust background in a manufacturing or plant setting.
Education: Postgraduate degree in Human Resources (MBA), Industrial Relations, or a Master of Social Work (MSW).
Skills: Strong negotiation, conflict management, and data-driven analytical skills. Deep understanding of statutory requirements and relevant labor laws.
