Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Foundry Senior Supervisor to manage day-to-day shop-floor activities in a non-ferrous foundry. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in Machine Moulding and Shell Moulding, along with good knowledge of production, manpower handling, quality and casting processes.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise daily foundry production and shop-floor activities.
Manage Machine Moulding and Shell Moulding operations.
Ensure production targets are achieved as per schedule.
Supervise and allocate manpower effectively.
Monitor mould preparation, pouring and casting processes.
Identify and control common casting defects and reduce rejection.
Coordinate with Quality and Maintenance teams for process-related issues.
Ensure proper machine utilization and smooth production flow.
Maintain discipline, safety and housekeeping on the shop floor.
Monitor process parameters and take corrective action when required.
Train and guide operators and workers.
Prepare/maintain production-related records and reports.
Required Skills
Strong experience in Non-Ferrous Foundry Operations
Hands-on knowledge of Machine Moulding
Hands-on knowledge of Shell Moulding
Positive understanding of casting processes and defects
Manpower handling and team supervision
Production target management
Problem-solving and shop-floor coordination
Positive communication and leadership skills
Preferred Candidate
Candidates with robust practical experience in Aluminium, Copper, Brass, Bronze or other non-ferrous casting operations will be preferred.
Pay: ₹700,000.00 - ₹1,000,000.00 per year
Ability to commute/relocate:
Silvassa, Daman and Diu: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
