Job Title: Production Supervisor (Fabrication)

Job Purpose:

The Production Supervisor (Fabrication) will be responsible for supervising daily production activities, managing a team of operators and welders, ensuring quality and timely delivery of fabricated components, and maintaining safety standards within the plant/workshop.

Experience Required: 3 – 8 years in production & heavy weight fabrication industry, commercial vehicle body building with hydraulic knowledge

Key Responsibilities:
Plan, supervise, and execute daily fabrication production schedules.
Allocate tasks to welders, fabricators, machine operators, and helpers.
Ensure adherence to drawings, process specifications, and quality standards.
Monitor material availability and coordinate with stores/purchase for requirements.
Supervise welding, cutting, bending, fitting, and assembly processes.
Inspect finished products to ensure they meet customer and company standards.
Identify process improvements to optimize productivity and reduce waste.
Maintain production records,



daily reports, and shift handovers.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Train, guide, and motivate team members to achieve production targets.

Skills & Competencies Required:
Robust knowledge of fabrication processes (welding, cutting, bending, fitting, machining).
commercial vehicle body building with hydraulic knowledge
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
Hands-on experience with production planning and resource allocation.
Good leadership and team management skills.
Solid problem-solving and decision-making ability.
Basic knowledge of quality standards (ISO, ASME, etc.).
Knowledge of safety protocols in fabrication workshops.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
