Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced AS/400 (IBM i / System i) Developer with solid expertise in RPG, RPGLE, CL/400, DB2/400, SQL, JSON, APIs, and Implementer. The candidate will be responsible for translating business and technical requirements into effective solutions, developing and maintaining AS/400 applications, and delivering high-quality code, unit tests, and technical documentation.

Key Responsibilities
Analyze business and technical requirements and translate them into effective AS/400 solutions.
Design, develop, enhance, and maintain applications using RPG/RPGLE and CL/400.
Develop and maintain database objects and applications using DB2/400 and SQL.




Develop and consume APIs and work with JSON-based data formats for application integration.
Perform application enhancements, debugging, testing, and production support.
Use Implementer for application change management, deployment, and release activities.
Prepare functional and technical designs, code, unit test cases, and technical documentation.
Perform code reviews, troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and performance optimization.
Collaborate with functional and technical teams to deliver solutions within project timelines.
Follow coding standards, development processes, and quality guidelines.
