Senior Quantity Surveyor

Key Responsibilities
Prepare detailed quantity take-offs and Bills of Quantities (BOQ) from architectural, structural, and interior drawings.
Estimate project costs for residential, commercial, institutional, and Healthcare projects.
Analyze drawings, specifications, and contract documents to determine material and labor requirements.
Prepare cost plans, budgets, and feasibility studies during the design stage.
Obtain and evaluate quotations from vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors.
Assist in tender preparation, bid evaluation, and contractor selection.
Monitor project costs and ensure expenditures remain within the approved budget.
Prepare and verify contractor bills, work measurements, and payment certificates.
Conduct site visits for quantity verification and progress assessment.
Identify cost-saving prospects through value engineering without compromising quality.
Maintain records of variations, change orders, and additional works.




Coordinate with architects, engineers, consultants, and project teams for accurate project costing.
Prepare periodic cost reports and project financial updates for management.
Ensure compliance with company standards, contractual requirements, and industry practices.

Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree / Diploma in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
10+ years of experience in quantity surveying, estimation, or cost management.
Experience in architectural, interior, and construction projects preferred.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Excel, and quantity surveying software.
Knowledge of construction materials, methods, rates, and contracts.
