Position Summary
Key Responsibilities
Market Expansion & Lead Generation
Identify current business prospects across industrial plants, infrastructure projects, OEMs, and commercial construction sectors.
Conduct regular field visits to prospective clients, electrical contractors, and MEP consultants.
Build an active pipeline of potential low-voltage (LV) and medium-voltage (MV) panel projects.
Commercial & Project Management
Collaborate with the internal estimation team to build accurate techno-commercial quotations.
Deliver persuasive sales pitches and product presentations highlighting product compliance and safety features.
Relationship Management & Closure
Negotiate pricing and commercial terms to successfully secure orders.
Coordinate post-sales handovers to the design, production, and testing teams.
Follow up on project timelines and ensure timely payment collections from clients.
Requirements & Qualifications
Education
Diploma or B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or Instrumentation Engineering.
Experience




2 to 5 years of B2B sales experience explicitly within electrical panel manufacturing or the switchgear trading industry.
Existing network connections with regional MEP contractors, industrial architects, and consultants are highly preferred.
Technical Knowledge & Competencies
Familiarity with major switchgear brands such as Siemens, Schneider, ABB, or L&T.;
Baseline understanding of components like VFDs, PLCs, ACB, MCCB, and busbar configurations.
Strong grasp of commercial realities including GST, logistics, and incoterms.
Soft Skills & Travel
Exceptional negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.
High mobility and a willingness to travel extensively (up to 70%) within the assigned territory.
Possession of a valid driving license and personal vehicle is mandatory.
