Key Responsibilities:
Design and maintain scalable automation frameworks using Playwright with TypeScript.
Develop UI, API, integration, and end-to-end automation using POM and BDD Cucumber/Gherkin.
Independently own QA automation activities within the assigned POD.
Define automation strategy, priorities, coverage, and implementation approach.
Support Selenium-to-Playwright migration using reusable and maintainable solutions.
Use Claude, GitHub Copilot, Codex, or similar AI tools for test design, coding, debugging, and documentation.
Review and validate all AI-generated test assets and automation code.
Perform code reviews, root-cause analysis, troubleshooting, and framework optimization.
Identify requirement gaps, quality risks, dependencies, and automation opportunities.
Collaborate directly with developers, BAs, Product Owners, and client stakeholders.




Communicate progress, blockers, risks, and release readiness clearly.
Mentor team members and drive automation standards and best practices.
Take complete ownership of automation quality and delivery outcomes.

Must-Have Skills:
Solid hands-on experience with Playwright and TypeScript.
Solid knowledge of BDD Cucumber, Gherkin, and Page Object Model.
Strong automation framework design and development experience.
Experience in Selenium-to-Playwright migration or framework modernization.
Solid knowledge of UI, API, integration, and end-to-end automation.
Practical experience using AI-assisted development tools effectively.
Ability to validate and improve AI-generated code.
Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis skills.
Strong code-review and technical-guidance capability.
Clear understanding of Agile/Scrum ceremonies, estimation, DoR, and DoD.
