Responsibilities:
As A Design Engineer, You will:




Translate marketing and customer requirements into innovative design concepts
Demonstrated ability to conduct critical review, seek approval of high complex design / layouts / documentation in collaboration with various stakeholders
Experience in using various Engineering / Quality / analysis tools / processes to arrive design decisions
Develop precise 3D part and assembly models using UG NX
Create accurate 2D product drawings with proper tolerances, GD&T;, and surface finish specifications in compliance with ASME and other applicable standards
Coordinate design activities and maintain effective communication with cross-functional stakeholders, including Project Engineering, Advanced Manufacturing, Reliability, Quality, suppliers, and plant teams.
Deliver projects by defining scopes, managing schedules, and ensuring timely delivery of competitive products
Oversee the NPD design process in alignment with Copeland’s stand
